DITCO intends to acquire all intra-LATA services within the United States and its territories directly from the Local Exchange Carriers (LECs), at published tariff prices. This includes local business line services and switched and dedicated services. Interested companies wishing to compete for services at competitive prices (lower than the published tariff prices), are invited to express their interest, in writing, to DITCO/DTS13, Attn: Mara Shultz-Saucier, 2300 E. Drive, Scott AFB, IL 62225-5406. Each interested company must specify the types of service they can provide (e.g. business lines, transmission speeds less than DS-1, DS-1/DS-3, or fiber-optic transmission rates from 51.84 MBPS to 2.5 GBPS) and the geographic locations where these services are available. A source list will be maintained specifying types of service and locations where these services are available. The Defense Information Technology Contracting Office (DITCO) will make this CBD announcement available through an electronic bulletin board, the DISA Acquisition Bulletin Board System (DABBS).
