Proofs, one set of laminated matchprint or equal color proofs and two sets of composed dylux proofs (one shall be retained by NCI). These proofs must be composite with all elements in the propoer position. One additonal set of dylux proofs shall be submitted flat and ruled to indicate the full press sheet imposition and all bindery trim-outs. Paper, Covers- 80 lb., white #1 matte finish cover, minimum brightness of 86. Text- 70 lbs. white #1 offset opaque text, minimum brightness of 89. Inks, PMS 308, PMS 361 and Black ink. Solid inks required, no builds allowed. Inks shall contain minimum percentages of vegetable oil in compliance with federal procurement mandates as follows: Heat-set litho/10%, sheet-fed litho/20%, forms/20%. Coating, overall dull varnish the outside covers 1 and 4 only of both books. Margins, bleeds follow trim marks on furnished camera copy.
