The work to be performed under this acquisition consists of (a) excavating approximately 117 feet of unlined channel at three sites; (b) earthwork for and constructing approximately 1,047 feet of dike at one site; (c) flatteniig for approximately 540 feet of backslope of an existing dike; (d) removing, salvaging and placing existing riprap; (e) placing, spreading and rolling topsoil for approximately 1.7 acres; (f) furnishing and laying approximately 155 feet of 36 inch precast reinforced concrete culvert control structure, (g) furnishing and placing approximately 1,545 square yards of filter fabric, (h) furnishing and placing rock riprap or articulated concrete mats and (i) furnishing and installing miscellaneous aluminum grating and treated stoplogs. The estimated price range of the work is $25,001 to $100,000. The work is situated in Slope County, approximately 11 miles northwest of Bowman, North Dakota. Solicitation packages will be available May 08, 1995. Requests for solicitations should be received on or before May 25, 1995. The bid opening is tentatively scheduled for June 08, 1995 at the office of the Bureau of Reclamation, Dakotas Area Office, 304 East Broadway, Bismarck, North Dakota. The contract completion time is 60 days after receipt of notice to proceed. There is no charge for the first copy of the solicitation, additional sets will be provided upon receipt of a nonrefundable check or money order of $9.00 each. After issuance, the solicitation may be viewed, without charge at the following offices of the Bureau of Reclamation: Dakotas Area Office, or Great Plains Regional Office, Federal Building, Room 2005, 316 North 26th Street, Billings, Montana. All responsible sources may submit a bid which shall be considered by the Bureau of Reclamation.
