Pre-Solicitation Notice: The proposed work includes repairing reclosures, selecting and installing electrical components for identified sections of the feeders in the electrical distribution system and incidental related work. All indicatd fuses in these feeders and section of feeders are to be replaced with elements selected in the coordination process; circuit breakers and relays in the feeders will be set based on the coordination effort. The Standard Industrial Code for this project is 1731; the small businss size standard is $7.0M. The estimated cost range of this procurement is between $100,00 and $250,000. Anticipated performance time is 180 calendar days. Plans and specifications are anticipated to be available on or about May 30, 1995, until supply is exhausted. The proposed solicitation listed here is being considered for 100% set aside for Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) concerns only. Interested SDB concerns should, as early as possible but not later than 1 May 1995, indicate interest in the acquisition by providing to the Contracting Office above in writing the following: (1) evidence of capability to perform, including name and telephone number of references on similar type projects performed in the past three years; (2) a positive statement of eligibility as a small socially and economically disadvantaged business concern; and (3) company's single proect and aggregate bonding capability.
