The work for this project will be of the design-build type requiring the Contractor to provide detailed design documents based upon actual field conditions for review and approval prior to any installation. The work includes installation of automatic sprinkler systems and related fire alarm in Buildings 17, 17D, 22, 37, 38 and 149. The installation of manual fire alarm systems in Buildings 17 and 17D. Installation of fire protection water main to supply the sprinkler systems in these buildings. Abatement of asbestos containing materials (ACM) in Buildings 17, 17D, 22, 37, 38 and 149; and incidental related work. This is a firm-fixed price contract.
