Gonzales, Contracting Officer, (703) 325-6684. The Defense Nuclear
Agency (DNA) is seeking to acquire 3.5 kilometers of Electrical Power
Cable for the purpose of providing support to activity related to
destruction of conventional arms in Belarus. Local power (380V AC,
50Hz) will be available. Belarus will install the cable at their
facility. Extreme weather conditions exist, including heavy snow and
temperatures ranging from -25 to +40C. All power cables shall have the
following characteristics: a) 10,000 Volt capacity; b) Conductors:
aluminum, three (3) wire and one (1) plus ground for a total of four
(4). Conductor and ground wires must be insulated with rubber. Armored
cable shall be provided with a flame retardant jacket which is
moisture, sunlight, oil and acid resistant. Any and all necessary
connecting collars shall be provided to string the specified cable. One
(1) kilometer of cable to be strung aerially from transformer to
building panel shall be provided with the following specifications: a)
Carrying capacity of 240 Amperes; b) Armored with PVC/plastic and
rubber insulation. One (1) kilometer of cable to be strung aerially
from transformer to building panel shall be provided with the following
specifications: 1) Carrying capacity of 115 Amperes; b) Armored with
PVC/plastic and rubber installation. One and one half (1.5) kilometers
of cable to be installed internally from building panel to outlets
shall be provided with the following specifications: a) Carrying
capacity of 90 Amperes; b) Unarmored with rubber insulation. All labels
and safety warnings shall be in metric measurements and labeled in
Russian. Construction/operation manuals shall be delivered with each
power cable and shall include maintenance instructions, a
specifications listing, and a cross selection illustration and parts
breakdown. Vendor shall provide a one year warranty on all workmanship,
materials, equipment and parts supplied. This procurement is a 100 per
cent Small-Business-Set-Aside. All responsible sources may submit a
