COMMERCE BUSINESS DAILY ISSUE OF APRIL 18,1995 PSA#1327AFFTC/PKA Directorate of Contracting, 5 S. Wolfe Ave, Edwards AFB, CA
93524-1185 70 -- DATA ACQUISITION SYSTEM SOL F04611-95-R-0073 POC Leanne Collins,
Contract Negotiator, (805) 277-3900 Ext 2296 Sally L. Raymond,
Contracting Officer, (805) 277-3900 Ext 228. The Air Force Flight Test
Center has a requirement for a single Data Acquisition System with the
following characteristics: a. Ability to input 32 analog channels with
the following input signal characteristics: Signal Level - 100mV - 25
V; Signal Frequency DC to 50 KHz. b. Ability to sample all channels at
a maximum sample rate of 200,000 Ksamples/sec. c. Ability to digitize
the input signals to a resoultion of 16 bits. d. Anti-aliasing filter
capability. e. Ability to time stamp the incoming data using a standard
IRIG B timing source. f. Ability to output the digitized data to disk
at an aggregate rate in excess of 700 Ksamples/sec. g. Ability to
output the digitized data to a maximum sample rate of 200 Ksamples/sec
per channel (constraint being the maximum aggregate sample rate - ie
maximum 3 channels @ 200 Ksamples/sec). h. System shall have two sample
clocks to allow output to disk at both a high sample set and a low
sample set (for example - 10 channels @ 30 Ksamples/sec and 4 channels
@ 100Ksamples/sec). i. System shall have the ability to output the
digitized data to disk in an ASCII format. j. Ability to interface to
a Small Computer System Interface (SCSI) device. k. Removable storage
media. l. Ability to playback data from the storage media. In addition
to the above Data Acquisition System the AFFTC also has a requirement
for the following items: General Purpose DC Signal Conditioner, 8
inputs 4 Ea. Modification of Fixed Disk 1 Ea. The AFFTC intends to
negotiate a contract with Gould Instrument Systems, Inc., 2685 Marine
Way, Suite 1220, Mountain View, CA 94043, in accordance with FIRMR
201.39.6, unless responses to this synopsis reveal other sources
capable of satisfying this requirement. Interested contractors must
submit clear and convincing documentation that fully demonstrates their
capability to provide a Data Acquisition System which meets the above
specifications. Requests for solicitation which fail to provide the
required capability demonstration will not be acknowledged.
Solicitation wil be issued on or about 5 May 1995, with a 30 day
proposal period. Telephone requests to be placed on the mailing list
will not be honored. See Numbered Note(s): 22. (0104) Loren Data Corp. http://www.ld.com (SYN# 0273 19950417\70-0003.SOL)
