70 -- SPARC/CPU-5-CE PROCESSOR SOL N00163-95-R-0003 DUE 061395 POC Contact Point, Robin Bartley, (317)353-7642, Contracting Officer, Robin Bartley, Additional Contact, Facsimile Number, (317)351-4700 It is NAWC-ADI's intention of issuing a limited competition solicitation to Force Computer, 601 Lakeshore Drive, San Jose, CA and to Themis Computers, 3185 Laurelview Court, Fremont, CA for the following items in support of the EP-3E aircraft Sensor System Improvement Program (SSIP): P/N: 501492, SPARC/CPU-5CE/64-82-2 (Force); P/N: 501656, Solaris 1.x Right to Use License (Force); P/N: 102631, SPARC 5/64 (Themis); and P/N: 102680, Solaris 1.x/5/64 (Themis). The quantity of the base year will be 30 each and there will be three one-year option periods for possible quantities upto 300 each. Data items will be required under the option periods. The following is the design requirements: (1) microSPARC-II/85 MHz (2) single wide 6U VME board (3) 64 MB RAM (4) 2 S Bus Slots (5) 2 Front panel serial ports (6) Sun OS 4.1.X and RTU license (7) AUI Ethernet port on P2 (8) Front panel parallel port (9) VME drivers and (10) Front panel Sun keyboard/mouse port. Delivery shall be to Naval Air Warfare Center, Indianapolis, 6000 East 21st Street, Indianapolis, IN 46219 as FOB Destination. The required delivery is 90 days after contract award. As stated previoulsy, this is a limited competition between Force Computers and Themis Computer. This is a modification to a synopsis that was issued on Marach 13, 1995.
