The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is contemplating the award of a sole-source contract with Montana State University to obtain support for independent statistical research for antimicrobial test methodologies. Areas to be examined include: injured cells, tuberculocidal evaluation, virucidal evaluation, sporicidal evaluation, and hard surface carrier test. EPA needs to complete work initiated with Montana State through an earlier cooperative agreement. Based upon this work we need to complete research methods projects and develop performance standards. Respondents to this announcement should fully explain their ability to provide these support services and should carefully explain their knowledge and experience related to antimicrobial test methodologies.
