C -- ARCHITECT-ENGINEER (A&E) OPEN-END CONTRACT TO INVESTIGATE, DESIGN, AND IMPLEMENT MISCELLANEOUS PROJECTS AT OFFUTT AFB NE. SOL F25600-95-R0204 DUE 051995 POC Shirley Twitchell, Contract Specialest, 402-294-4205. One or more open-ended Architect-Engineering (A&E) contract(s) for investigation and design of routine miscellaneous projects are required. The projects will involve primarily Architectural services with civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical engineering support, as required, as well as removal of asbestos and lead based paint where encountered. Construction costs of the individual projects will range between $5,000 and $3,000,000. The contract(s) will run over a one year period, with a possible option year. The selected firm(s) is guaranteed a minimum of $5,000.00 each in fees. With the exception of the initial order, no individual order will exceed $299,000 in fees. The cumulative fees for each contract will not exceed $750,000. The A-E firms will be evaluated on the following significant factors in relative order of importance: Professional qualification, professional, capacity, specialized experience, past performance, location, computer aided design drafting (AUTOCADD), and volume of work. A&E firms desiring consideration should be multi-disciplined or clearly indicate their consultants or joint ventures. The anticipated disciplines required for these projcets are Architectural, Civil, Structural, Mechanical, and Electrical. A&E firms desiring consideration must also submit both SF 254 and SF 255 with appropriate data as described in Note 24. SF 254 and SF 255 are also required for consultants or joint venture firms. Non-responsive firms will not be considered by the A&E selection boards. Firms responding to this announcement by close of business on 19 May 95 will be considered for selection.
