J -- PROCURE AND INSTALL TWO (2) DENRO COMMUNICATIONS ACCESS AND CONTROL PANELS WITH REMOVAL AND RE-INSTALLATION AND CLS OPTIONS POC James K. McKenna, Contracting Officer, 617-377-7241. The Government intends to award a contract to Litton Data Systems, 29851 Agoura road, Agoura Hills, CA 91409 under the Caribbean Basin Radar Network (CBRN) Program. This contract will procure and install two (20 DENRO Communications Access and Control Panels or equivalent into the two 92) existing operator display consoles located in the Puerto Rico Operations Center display consoles located in the Puerto Rico Operations Center (PROC), Punta Salinas, Puerto Rico. If exercised, an option will (A) remove tow (2) existing DENRO Communication Panels from two (2) operator display consoles located in the Drug Interdiction Operations Center (DIOC) and re-install these panels into two (2) existing ODCs in the PROC, both located in the same facility at Punta Salinas, Puerto Rico, and (b) procure and install two (20 DENRO Communications Access and Control Panels or equivalent into the two (2) ODCs in the DIOC. If exercised, another option will provide contractor logistical support (CLS) needed to maintain a .985 operational availability on the two (2) newly installed communications access and control panels (whether they are in the PROC or the DIOC) and the two (20 ODCs in the DIOC, located in the same facility at Punta Salinas, Puerto Rico. DENRO, acting as a subcontractor, designed, installed, and tested the current suite of voice communications access and control panels as part of the Litton Data Systems PROC Contract No. F19628-90-C-0076. It is considered that only Litton has the requisite management, technical expertise, PROC experience and resources to accomplish this effort with the current schedule and budget constraints. Statuary authority for award of this contract is 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c) (1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. ''Only One Responsible Source.'' However, if your firm believes it could accomplish the effort in the required schedule, submit a qualification package not to exceed 20 pages explaining your capabilities.
