R -- SOIL REMEDIATION SOL 783-95-0043 DUE 050995 POC Contact Point, Arlene Berry COMMERCE BUSINESS DAILY ADVERTISEMENT The Resolution Trust Corporation (''RTC''), is seeking to identify prospective contractors to utilize an on-site thermal desorption treatment method to remediate approximately 4,800 cubic yards of soil. The soil has been stockpiled on the site, and was excavated from various locations on the site where releases of petroleum- related contaminants are know to have occurred. Detected contaminants include TPH, GRO, DRO, RPH, BTEX, and HVO. The awarded contractor will be required to attend meetings, obtain permits to operate the desorption unit and conduct soil treatment operations until the designated cleanup levels are reached; obtain approval from the appropriate authority before backfilling with the treated soil; inspect site buildings and determine the 1ocations and number of floor drains requiring sealing; The subject property is located at Mile 19.5 Kalifornsky Beach Road - 35145 Kalifornsky Beach Road Soldatna, Alaska. Contractors interested in receiving Solicitation of Service No. 783-95-0043 must send an original and one copy of a notification letter on company letterhead, which affirmatively states the firm has the capacity and demonstrated experience to perform the services as described above. The letter must include the firm's federal tax identification number, license number(s) and be signed by an officer of the firm. Interested firms must send 1) a resume not to exceed five pages confirming your firm's qualifications; 2) a list of specific projects of similar size and complexity which the contractor has performed on within the last 5 years; and 3) copies of valid licenses and certificates required to perform the necessary services. RTC will entertain only one offer from each contractor. It is the intent of the RTC to distribute a Solicitation to qualified respondents to this ad meeting the qualifications and appropriate experience, as determined by RTC. Firms shall indicate whether they are a Minority or Woman Owned Business (''MWOB'') or identify their proposed level of MWOB participation. Qualified MWOB's and participants in a joint venture with an MWOB will be given additional consideration.
