Pre-Solicitation Notice - Construct Composite Medical Training/Dining Hall, Mansfield Ohio National Guard Base, Mansfield-Lahm Airport, Mansfield, Ohio. The work includes construction of a 19,200 SF Facility providing space for: Medical training administrative, classroom, and functional areas, dining; kitchen, and storage areas. The one story building will consist of: slab on grade floors, Concrete Masonry Unit (CMU) and brick exterior walls; CMU, stud, and gypsum board interior walls; structural steel supports; wood truss roof framing; plywood sheathing with standing seam metal roofing; plumbing; heating; ventilating, and air conditioning systems; and electrical systems. The work will include but not be limited to: selective site demolition; site grading; new site utilities; concrete and asphalt paving; and demolition of existing buildings. Additive bid items are: 1) Signage, lockers, and window blinds; 2) Landscaping; 3) Alteration of selected areas of existing building 4) and extension and connection to existing water, natural gas, and electrical distribution systems. The project is estimated to cost between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. This solicitation is a Small Disadvantaged Business Set-Aside. Interested concerns should as early as possible, but not later than 15 calendar days after publication of this notice, indicate interest in bidding as the prime or as a subcontractor on the project. Replies must indicate the firm's size status such as large business, small business, small disadvantaged business, or 8(a). The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code is 1542. The applicable small business size standard including affiliates is no more than $17.0 Million average annual revenue for the previous three years. There is a seventy ($70.00) dollar non-refundable charge for the solicitation package.
