The Volpe Center is in the process of issuing a solicitation for emergency response for environmental remediation. This solicitation is expected to be issued by June 5, 1995. All work, including transportation and disposal of contaminated material, shall be performed in accordance with all federal, state and local regulations. Permit/license requirements necessary to perform any and all work shall be the responsibility of the contractor. Based on responses to the November 28, 1994 market survey, the Government plans to issue this solicitation on a full and open competitive basis under SIC Code 8744. The solicitation will result in one contract award, with an ordering period of no more than 60 months and a maximum ceiling of $5 million. The contract to be awarded will be a cost-plus-award-fee, indefinite delivery-indefinite quantity contract.
