The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Divsion Lakehurst (NAWCADLKE) intends to negotiate a contract for the design, development, manufacture and delivery of TPSs for the Mux/Demux to be used on the SH-60B aircraft. The TPSs will be utilized with the CASS tester and will fault detect, isolate and validate repair actions on the Mux/Demux WRA and SRAs. This requirement is for supplies for which the NAWCADLKE does not own specifications, drawings and related data, to permit full and open competition. The NAWCADLKE intends to procure these CASS TPSs from Loral Federal Systems, Owego, NY under authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), implemented by FAR 6.302-1 and under an approved Justification and Approval (J&A). Items to be covered by this procurement include: Six (6) sets of WRA and SRA Intermediate level TPSs. One (1) set for Product Qualification Unit/First Article Test (FAT), development tests, technical documentation and on-site verification and related data. The remaining sets to be delivered for fleet use. Issuance of solicitation is projected by 1 June 1995 or sooner, with a closing date approximately 45 days thereafter. Delivery for FAT set is approximately 24 months ADOC. Production sets are 3-6 months after FAT approval. NAWCADLKE is anticipating a Firm Fixed Price type delivery order under contract N0019-94-G-0049. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered.
