66 -- CONSOLIDATED AUTOMATED SUPPORT SYSTEM (CASS) TEST PROGRAM SET (TPS) DEVELOPMENT FOR THE PROGRAMMABLE TACTICAL INFORMATION DISPLAY (PTID) WEAPON REPLACEMENT ASSEMBLY (WRA) SOL N68335-95-R-0195 DUE 080195 POC Paul J. The US Navy intends to negotiate a contract for the design, development, manufacture and delivery of TPSs for Units Under Test for the PTID to be used on the F-14A/B aircraft. The TPSs will be used on the CASS and will fault detect/isolate and validate repair for actions on the PTID WRA. This requirement is for supplies for which the US Navy does not own specifications or drawings to permit full and open competition. The US Navy intends to procure from Loral Information Display Systems, Atlanta, GA or Northrop/Grumman Corp, Bethpage, NY, under authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), implemented by FAR 6.302-1 and under an approved Justification and Approval (J&A). Items to be covered by this procurement include: Seven (7) sets of production Intermediate level TPSs, one (1) set for Product Qualification Unit/First Article Test (FAT), developmental tests, technical documentation and on-site verification for I-level WRA and related data. Also, included is an option for approximately eight (8) sets of additional WRA TPSs.
