A -- RESEARCH TOPIC: SMALL BUSINESS SHARE OF PRIVATE, NONFARM, GROSS DOMESTIC PRODUCT SOL SBAHQ95R0020 DUE 072295 POC Contract Specialist, Dionna Martin, 202-205-6622 The U.S. Small Business Administation (SBA), Office of Advocacy (OA) is soliciting proposals for a research topic entitled ''Small Business Share of Private, Nonfarm, Gross Domestic Product''. The principal objective of this project is to replicate the estimates performed for the Office of Advocacy and quantify the amont of the private nonfarm gross domestic product generated by small businesses (and large business), revised to the 1977 and 1982 benchmark years with interpolations for the intervening years. Preliminary estimates are to be made for the new 1992 benchmark year with interpolations for the 1988-1991 period. The same 500-employee size standard will be used as the demarcration line between large and small business. This information will be used by SBA in formulating agency policies. It is anticipated that the RFP will be issued O/A 05/22/95. The closing date for receipt of proposals will be O/A 07/22/95. Copies of the RFP will be provided upon written request only.
