202-205-6622 The U.S. Small Business Administation (SBA), Office of
Advocacy (OA) is soliciting proposals for a research topic entitled
''Impacts of P.L. 103-328, The Banking & Branching Efficiency Act of
1994, on Small Business Lending''. The principal objective of this
project is focus on whether the lending behavior of banks changed with
changing bank structure. The study should emphasize three areas: the
future of small community banks under the new interstate banking law;
evaluate large banks as the small business lenders; and the prospect
for new bank formation under new envirorment. This information will be
used by SBA in formulating agency policies. It is anticipated that the
RFP will be issued O/A 05/22/95. The closing date for receipt of
proposals will be O/A 07/22/95. Copies of the RFP will be provided upon
written request only. NO TELEPHONE OR FAX REQUESTS WILL BE HONORED.
Individual requests must be submitted for each research topic for which
you are requesting an RFP. This acquisition is a TOTAL SMALL BUSINESS
