The National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI) is undertaking a clinical trial involving hormone replacement therapy (estrogen and progestin) and antioxidant vitamins (vitamins E and C and potentially beta-carotene) in women with angiographically-demonstrated coronary artery disease.
