This action originally published in the CBD dated Wednesday, October 26, 1994, Number PSA-1209 is modified as follows. The original subject/title ``Army Careet and Alumni Program's (ACAP) Job Assistance Centers (JACs)'' is chenged to the ``Department of Defense Personnel Services and Support Program. Eight (8) Options have been added whcih maybe exercised by the Government during the duration of the contract. The Options include transition and job assistance services. The Option Descriptions follow: Provide job assistance services to all Department of Defense agencies and Non-Department of Defense agencies; Provide job assistance services to Federal, state, and local government agencies; Incorporate existing Government performed transition assistance functions within the Contractor operated JACs; Incorporate the Army's Government operated Family Member and Employment Assistance Program (FMEAP) into the Contractor operated JACs; Establish Contractor operated Transisiton Processing Centers, on a worldwide basis, to replace existing Government operated centers; Provide Contractor personnel to perform recruiting function for the U.S. Army Recruiting Command (USAREC); Provide additional job assistance services and support for any unforeseen surges in work load attributable to base realignments and closures; and Provide Contractor personnel and support to perform Processing for Overseas Replacement (POR) functions during call up of U.S. Army Reserve Personnel. A Draft Request for Proposals (DRFP) will be issued for this requirement to obtain industry feedback on its' content, clarity and structure.
