McGlinn, 215/697-3453 The Naval Aviation Supply Office (ASO) is soliciting offers for a one year contract for testing and quality assurance services for aircraft parts. The testing shall consist of first article, production lot, special tests, performance and inspection tests, and environmental tests, primarily on airframe structural components, gas turbine and jet engine components, helicopter components, aircraft hydraulic components, and aircraft launching equipment in accordance with applicable drawings and specifications. The contractor shall also have the capability to develop test plans and design and fabricate special test equipment when required. A level of effort, term type contract is contemplated for an estimated 20,185 man hours over a twelve month base period with four one year options each consisting of 20,185 man hours.
