that the General Services Administration (GSA) will conduct an
investigation of possible sites to be used for construction of a new
U.S. Courthouse in London, Kentucky. As part of this investigation, GSA
hereby solicits proposals for a no-cost option to purchase property or
for donation of a site to the United States of America. A minimum site
area of 1-1/2 to 3 acres is required within the delineated area bounded
as follows: On the North: 9th Street to Broad St., Broad St., To Maple
St., To Long St., On the East: Parthenia to East 6th St., East 6th
St., To Hill St., Hill St., To Main St., Main St., To Cornett Dr., On
the West: Long St., To West 1st St., West 1st St., To Jackson Dr.,
Jackson Dr., To West Dixie, On the South: West Dixie St., To Main St.,
Main St., To Cornett Dr., Cornett Dr. extending northwest to Hill St.
Owners of parcels aggregating less that the size of the site
specified, but to which abutting parcels may be added to produce a site
of the required size, are encouraged to offer such properties for
inspection. Sites which may be donated to the Federal Government are
solicited, as well as sites which are for sale. Offers for a no-cost
option to purchase property or for a donation of a site, should be
submitted in letter form and include an accurate description of the
site offered. Offers should be received on or before April 27, 1995, to
General Services Administration, Janice K. Kuykendall, Site Acquisition
& Relocation (4PCP), 401 West Peachtree Street, NW, Suite 2500,
Atlanta, GA 30365-2550. Facsimiles are also acceptable at
(404)331-7169. Owners may submit their own proposals. Proposals
submitted by agents must be accompanied by documentary evidence of
their authority to make such offers. This is to advise persons
submitting offers that due to procedural regulations under certain
laws, options should remain open through April 30, 1996. The Government
will make every effort to expedite the site selection. Representatives
of GSA will be in London on May 1-4 1995, for the purpose of the site
investigation and can be contacted on May 1 from 2:00-4:30 p.m., at
the U.S. Federal Courthouse, 300 South Main St., London, Kentucky, Room

for negotiation, and the right is hereby reserved as the interest of
the Government may require to reject any or all offers and give
consideration to sites other than those offered in response to this
