includes various repairs such as patching of terra cotta block walls
and concrete floors; demolition of drywall partitions and door; removal
and preperation of lead based paint on interior ceiling and wall,
floor, and window surfaces; removal of galvanized steet water lines;
interior painting of walls, ceiling, ceiling beams, columns, floors,
window frames, pipes and heating units; stenciling and striping of
walls, columns, and ceilings. All work is located in interior of
building and is not exposed to direct weather elements. Estimated Cost
Range is between $100,000 and $250,000. The Standard Industrial Code
is 1721. The related Small Business Size Standard is $7 million. The
proposed contract listed here is being considered 100% set-aside for
Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) Concerns. Interested SDB Concerns
should provide in writing to the Contracting Officer as early as
possible, but not later than 15 days after receipt of this notice,
specifically: 1) a list of references past and present
government/commercial contracts, similar to the work described in this
notice, which includes the contract number, title of contract, dollar
value, name of person to contact, and telephone number, 2) a positive
statement of self certification as a SDB Concern, and 3) a statement
of capability to obtain the required bonds. If adequate interest is not
received from SDB Concerns, the solicitation with be issued on an
unrestricted basis and another notice will be issued. Therefore,
replies to this office are requested from all interested business and
well as SDB Concerns. The Bid Opening Date is on or about 15 June 1995.
