Z -- REPLACE 5400 & 5700 AREA FURNACES SOL DTCGG1-95-B-3WK251 DUE 050695 POC Mattie Walker (401)736-1766 Provide all labor, material, equipment, transportation and supervision for the removal of existing warn air furnaces including removal and disposal of asbestos collars and humidifiers. Contractor is also responsible for the sheet metal and plumbing work required to connect the new furnaces with existing supply and return air duct work and incidental related work required for a complete and operational warm air heating system. The furnaces are to be removed and replaced with furnaces either of the lowboy type unit or upflow type. The base proposal is for twelve (12) lowboy type and sixty-four (64) upflow type. There will also be an indefinite quantity portion to this contract. Furnaces of the same size and type will be selected by the government for replacement. This option will include the actual quantities and discretion of the Governmment. The work is located at the U.S. Coast Guard Air Station Cape Cod, Otis Ang, MA. The estimated cost is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. Plans and specs issue on or about 05/5/95. Bid pkgs will be available for a non-refundable check of $20 made payable to USCG.
