The contractor shall design and manufacture a rack that elevates a 5000 lbs weapon system to various heights for deployment from an amphibious assault craft. The maximum working height of the platform is nine feet. The minimum working height of the platform is 30 inches or less. The weapon system measures 108 inches wide, 60 inches deep, an 108 inches high. The rack will be subject to rain, ice, snow, salt water, fresh water, sand and temperatures ranging from -65 degrees F to 165 degrees F. Furthermore, the platform must be able to withstand vertical 7G, longitudinal 3.5G, and lateral 3.5G loading for eight hours.
