minimum of 8 each and a maximum of 30 each fixed voltage, current
limited power sources in accordance with NAVSURFWARCENDIV Crane Brand
Name or Equal purchase description with salient characteristics: Alpha
Scientific Electronics' Model 199-C or HBS Equipment Corporation's
Model SC250010W OR EQUAL. The DC power source output shall be capable
of delivering 2,500 amperes between an output voltage of 10 and 14
volts DC, continuously. No current regulation is required. At the
nominal AC input voltage (480 volts, 3 phase, 60 Hz power), output
voltage and current ripple shall not exceed 5% RMS from 25 to 2,500
amperes. Voltage must be continuous; switching or switch mode power
sources are not acceptable. Multiple charging sources may be connected
in parallel to provide greater power and current capabilities. Size
shall not exceed 32'' wide, 32'' deep, and 72'' high. Acceptance will
be at destination. Delivery shall be FOB NAVSURFWARCENDIV Crane within
45 days from date of delivery order. A two year ordering period is
anticipated. This procurement is 100% set-aside for Small Business
concerns; see note number 1. All responsible sources may submit an
