The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) plans to issue a solicitation for Coil Packaging Lidding Film, in accordance with BEP Specification F: CPL-1, dated March 2, 1995. The Coil Packaging Lidding Film is identified by BEP Stock Item Number 1L001478 and should be a rigid, unplasticized transparent film coated on one side with a heat sealable adhesive suitable for adhering to a plastic tray film. The Lidding Film will be used to package coils of U. S. postage stamps. The Government anticipates awarding a Firm Fixed-Price, Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract. The period of performance will be for one (1) 12-month base period plus two (2) 12-month option periods. The total estimated quantities in feet are: Base Year - 4,312,500; first option year - 4,175,000; second option year - 6,210,000. The Solicitation will be available on or about May 22, 1995. Interested firms are required to submit a written request for a copy of this solicitation. Please submit the request within thirty (30) calendar days of the date of this announcement.
