This announcement previously went out under solicitation F65501-95-R0141 and is now changed to F65501-95-B0007. The contractor shall provide all materials, equipment, supplies and labor required to perform the work necessary for the storage, remediation and disposal of POL contaminated soil excavated in conjunction with construction and maintenance operations on Elmendorf AFB, Alaska in accordance with the statement of work. Work includes but is not limited to: loading, transporting, storage, remediation, and disposal of a minimum of 10,000 tons of POL contaminated soil which is stockpiled in various locations on Elmendorf AFB, Alaska. The amount of POL contaminated soil which may be addressed under the statement of work will not exceed 30,000 tons. At the Air Force's option, the loading and transporting of the materials in excess of the 10,000 ton minimum may be accomplished by the contractor or by an Air Force approved agent. Solicitation will be available on or about 01 MAY 95 with a BOD of 01 JUN 95. The minimum of 10,000 tons must be completed by 01 OCT 95. The remaining portion, Not to Exceed 30,000 tons for the entire contract, is to be completed 365 days from contract award. Solicitation packages will be in limited supply and issued on a first come first serve basis until supply is exhausted. Packages will be sent upon written request. Requests shall include size of business. This project is open to both large and small businesses. (0108)
