Operate Publications Distribution Office (PDO) at Eglin AFB FL for the Basic Year 1 Aug 95 through 31 Jul 96 plus four one-year option periods. Work shall include but not be limited to the following: Use AF-wide PDOS computerized program for managing, ordering, stocking, and distribution of publications and forms via paper, floppy disk, CD-ROM, microfiche, etc., using the Automated Technical Order Management System (ATOMS) for technical orders (TO) and interacting PDOS with customer-order processing under the Automated Publications Management Program (APMP). New/other automated systems and upgrades to current systems may be implemented during the life of the contract. Contractor personnel must be capable of loading software, rebuilding program files, making back-ups, diagnosing and correcting system malfunctions, reviewing error messages, and making corrections IAW AF-provided procedures. Also, must maintain current and accurate computerized inventory management database, provide recommendations to improve processes, account for and issue ''accountable'' and ''safeguard'' forms to authorized users, examine stock levels and reorder times, review low-usage forms, remove slow-moving shelf stock, decide stock levels, use electronic mail accounts for receiving customer orders, messages, etc. Train customer account representatives (CAR) on proper procedures for handling transactions with the PDO, provide assistance, answer questions, etc. as required. Approve or disapprove and establish customer accounts IAW directives. Contractor and employees must be registered and certified to handle technical data (DD Form 2345, Militarily Critical Technical Data Agreement). This acquisition is reserved for small business sources only. The SIC code is 7389 with the applicable size standard being a firm, including its affiliates, having average annual sales or receipts for its preceding three fiscal years not in excess of $5,000,000.
