The National Naval Medical Center, Bethesda, MD has a requirement for the quarterly distribution and delivery of blood collection tubes and tube holders. These items are for handling and transportation of HIV blood specimens. Delivery is required to various individual CONUS sites. The estimated quarterly distribution for tubes and tube holders is 271,250. The government intends to procure on a brand name or equal basis. The following AUTOSEP and VENOJET II are brand names that are recognized as satisfying the Government's need. The following are the salient characteristics that must be met by the offeror in order to satisfy the Government's need: (1) AUTOSEP Serum Separation Tubes Inert Gel, and Silca Coated Disc 8.0 ml 16x100 mm (P-200SGT): (2) VENOJET II Universal Tube Holder (P-1316R). The contract will be for one (1) base year and (4) option years. This procurement will be Full and Open Competition. The type of contract will be Firm-Fixed price delivery.
