The Contractor shall provide all necessary care for and groom up to fifteen (15) U.S. Customs-owned canines on an as-required basis. Contractor's kennel facility shall be within a twenty (20) mile radius of the outer parameters of Newark International Airport and Seaport, and be capable of supporting all animals at one location. The Contractor shall provide twenty-four (24) hour access to the kennel and Customs-owned canines. The proposed contract shall consist of a Base Period beginning the date of the contract award and ending September 30, 1995, and include provisions for up to four (04) one (01) year option periods beginning October 1, 1995 and ending September 30 each year thereafter, through September 30, 1999. All responsible small businesses offering kennel services and supplies are encouraged to request a proposal package and submit their proposal for this requirement.
