Furnish commercial and military family housing area solid waste collection and disposal services at Barksdale AFB LA. Contractor will provide 154 each 6 & 8 cubic yard dumpsters, 9 each 30 cubic yard dumpsters and all other necessary vehicles and equipment to furnish bth commercial and military family housing refuse collection. Contractor will also provide all necessary equipment, transportation, materials and training to perform recycling services and implement a comprehensive recycling program to include recycling of aluminum, cardboard, glass, paper, plastics and steel cans. Recycling program will be conducted in military family housing, over 70 office buildings and will require operation of a central drop-off center. Basic period will be 1 Oct 95 through 30 Sep 96. This requirement is being considered for a multiyear acquisition for the period of 1 Oct 95 through 30 Sep 98. Prices will be submitted for both the first year and for the total multiyear requirement. Anticipated isse date is 5 May 95. The SIC Code is 4953. This action is being considered for 100 percent set-aside for small disadvantaged business (SDB) concerns. Interested SDB concerns should indicate interest, in writing, as early as possible but not later than 15 calendar days of this notice by providing to the Contracting Office as a minimum, specific information which demonstrates the capability to perform projects of this type and complexity. Complete information concerning management experience in similar work and financial status should be submitted with previous contract experience (commercial and federal government) references.
