Preventive and emergency maintenance for consolidated area radio trunking system manufactured by Motorola, Inc. Period of contract performance shall be a base period from 01 Ocotber 1995 through 30 September 1996 with two (2) 12 month option periods. Preventive maintanance shall include two maintenance visits during the contract period. In addition, the contractor shall be reponsible for providing on site emergency service requests within 2 hours of the requested service. The contractor must be able to respond to emergency service requests 24 hours a day 7 days a week. Since the U.S. Navy is currently operating a Motorola, Inc., consolidated trunked radio system, Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, Regional Contracts Department, San Diego intends to award this consolidated trunked radio maintenance contract on a sole source basis to Motorola, Inc.
