The Naval Research Laboratory NIKE LASER facility has a requirement for a discharge pumped KrF LASER to augment the existing system. It must have the flexibility to be configured as either a stable resonator oscillator with integral optics or as an amplifier with pressure cell windows that are tilted with respect to the optical axis to suppress resonant feedback. The minimum single pulse output energy has to be at least 750 mJ. The Output pulse width FWHM must be between 15 and 25 ns. The maximum single shot external trigger jitter must be less than +/- 2ns.
