Drydock and repair of USCGC BAYBERRY (WLI 65400) AND BARGE (CGB 60044), at the contractor's facility. Because of the transit restrictions of the 65' cutter, the place of performance is restricted to Puget Sound, WA, as far north as Bellingham. Major work items include, for the cutter: Underwater body preservation, cargo hoisting gear overhaul and test, cargo hoist gear spool valves renewal, buoy deck/port preservation, rudder removal, inspection and recoating, hydraulic steering system cleaning, overhaul and testing and the navigation light upgrade; and for the barge: Underwater body preservation, void preservation, and cargo hoisting gear overhaul and test. Solicitation pursuant to the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program will be issued on or about 22 May 95. Work is scheduled between 28 August and 29 September 95.
