Example of the types of engineering sustainment services for operational Minuteman & Peacekeeper ICBM Guidance & Control (G&C) systems and related activities to be provided include: software engineering support, depot engineering support for hardware & software, project engineering, logistics support, test support, assessment, problem resolution, interface activity support, GI-TIB demilitarization and parts reclamation support, and data systems support. These services shall apply to ICBM weapon system in any stage from initial operational capability through deactivation. A Cost Plus Award Fee (CPAF) contract type is contemplated. ITEM 0001- Continuous engineering / technical support of the Peacekeeper Weapon System Guidance & Control Subsystem AVE and depot support equipment. Work to be performed at Hawthorne, Ogden, and Newark. ITEM 0002 - Continuous engineering / technical support of the Minuteman GI-TI-B Gyro Subsystem. Work to be performed at contractor's facility (Norwood). ITEM 0003-Technical services to support Peacekeeper Information Retrieval System Software Maintenance. Work to be performed at 00-ALC (Hill AFB Utah). ITEM 0004-Continuous engineering/technical services to support the Peacekeeper Guidance Instrument software. Work to be performed at Hawthorne and 00-ALC. ITEM 0005-Technical services to support the implementation of Peacekeeper engineering change proposals. Five other items to include travel,subsistence,material,computer services and data. Period of Performance is one year beginning 1 OCT 95 to Sept 96, with two one year options to extend.
