Y -- FABRICATION AND ERECTION OF COLTS TEST CHAMBER ENCLOSURE, BUILDING 1256 WEST AREA SOL 1-036-GGK1-1095 DUE 061295 POC Bid Distribution Office, 804-864-2547. The work to be performed includes the following: The fabrication, erection, and installation of a large (approximately 66' x 41' x 36') steel test-chamber enclosure. The enclosure shall be sealed with pressure plating on the sides and the ceiling. Handrails and steel plate shall be installed on the roof. Grating shall be installed on the floor. A stairway into the enclosure and a ladder to the top of the enclosure shall also be provided. Building electrical systems shall include fire alarm, lighting, power, and telephone systems. The Contractor shall provide a Base Bid for the purchase of all materials, all off-site fabrications, delivery of all materials and fabricated pieces to the installation site, and weather protection of all on-site stockpiled materials. The Contractor shall also provide an Option Bid for the erection and fabrication of all stockpiled materials. Contract duration for the Base period 180 days.
