Z -- S/M FOR REPLACEMENT OF MODEL CART HYDRAULIC LIFT SYSTEMS FOR THE 14 X 22 FOOT SUBSONIC WIND TUNNEL SOL 1-71-GGK1.1098 DUE 060995 POC BID DISTRIBUTION OFFICE, 804-864-2547. The Contractor shall be responsible for 1) the design of two hydraulic model cart lift systems; 2) the demolition of two existing hydraulic model lift cart systems, consisting of two lift platforms, four hydraulic rams with mounting/support structure, two hydraulic power supply systems, one electrical supply system and one electrical control system. Final disposition of all equipment/material removed shall be discarded as scrap and waste; 3) the demolition/removal of existing concrete as required for installation of the new model cart lift systems, and all new concrete construction required to anchor the new model cart lift systems with the remaining existing concrete; 4) installation of the two new model cart lift systems. These systems shall be electro-hydraulic scissors lift table mechanisms, with self contained hydraulic supply systems and controls. Operator controls shall consist of local and remote systems, with a stationary mounted remote panel for common control of both systems, and individual pendant controls for local control; 5) furnishing and installing new electrical supply and control systems for the new model cart lift systems.
