Carrier, (804)441-7790 The project consists of upgrading existing housing unit interior spaces, including kitchen exhaust hoods for fire suppression system, lights under kitchen cabinets, dishwashers, garbage disposals, window blinds, wood parquet floors, VCT, and replacing windows, doors and porches, upgrading exterior of housing units, including all landscaping, lot and street parking, and incidental related work. In addition, the work includes removing existing mechanical and electrical systems, and providing new mechanical and electrical systems. The work also includes the following hazardous abatement: removal of vinyl asbestos tile and mastic; removal of underground storage tanks along with removal of associated piping and ancillary equipment, and the removal and treatment of approximately 300 cubic yards of soil contaminated by the tanks; and limited exterior lead paint abatement. Magnitude is estimated between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Duration of the project is 430 calendar days.
