It is the intention of the Walter Reed Army Medical Center to acquire and install an Audio Visual Nurse Call System for installation at McDonald Army Hospital, Ft. Eustis, VA. The contractor will be required to provide all necessary hardware, software, systems integration, site preparation. installation training, and technical data and documentation, and technical support. As a minimum, the installed system shall possess the following minimum design and operating characteristics: Micro-computer controlled Nurse Control Station and Central Logic; multiplexed data transmission; asynochronous serial data communication capabilities, menu-driven programmable functions; simultaneous speech capabilities at all Nurse Control Stations; and Cathode Ray Tube (CRT) call display screen.
