The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division plans to procure One (1) Storage and Recording System which meets the following requirements: DATA STORAGE 1) System shall be capable of storing a minimum of 16 Gbytes digital data. 2) System shall have two bi-directional data busses; (a) 32 bit external differential bus capable of 50 Mbytes/second peak data rates and 20 Mbytes/second sustained data rates and conforms to the EIA RS-422 standard. (b) Fast and Wide SCSI interface with data rate of 20 Mbytes/second. 3) System shall be capable of on the fly error detection and correction. SYSTEM CONTROL 1)System shall be capable of control from Fast and Wide SCSI via PC or VME architecture. 2) High speed data bus (i.e. section I.2.) shall be independent of the PC or VME backplane data bus. 3) Fast Wide SCSI shall be capable of read/write to the storage medium. 4) System shall include all internal cables. 5) System shall include operational and maintenance manuals. PHYSICAL SYSTEM 1) Integrated system (less control computer) shall fit in a single housing less than 80 lbs total weight and fit a 19 inch equipment rack. 2) System power shall be capable of using 110V @ 60 Hz. 3) Contractor shall provide factory integration of all internal components. DELIVERY of a fully integrated system shall be F.O.B. Destination to the Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division, China Lake, CA 93555-6001 within 60 days after award.
