A -- LLNL ADVANCED LASER TECHNOLOGIES AVAILABLE FOR LICENSING POC For further information, contact Industrial Partnerships & Commercialization, at (510) 423-3139. Announcement Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, operated by the University of California under contract with the U.S. Department of Energy is seeking licensees for advanced laser technologies and applications. The laboratory's goal is to apply federally-funded research and development expertise and capabilities at LLNL to industrial problems to enhance American productivity and competitiveness in areas of national importance. Moving critical technology beyond the Laboratory to the commercial world helps our U.S. licensees gain a competitive edge in the marketplace. The University of California's Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory can license technology through exclusive or nonexclusive licensing agreements. Specific advanced prototype components can be made available for the purpose of evaluation, through cooperative research and development agreements (CRADAs), demonstration licenses, or work-for-others agreement. The Laser Programs Directorate at LLNL has an extensive history of research, development, and demonstration in advanced laser materials and devices, and laser applications. Systems integrators, equipment manufacturers, and component suppliers that would benefit from access to LLNL's laser technologies are invited to participate. LLNL is specifically interested in making available critical technologies for near and mid ir (e.g., 1-3 micro meters) lasers including microchannel cooled diode-laser pump arrays and microlens conditioned diode-laser pump arrays that can enable beyond state-of-the-art performance in diode-pumped solid-state laser media such as Th;Ho:YAG, Yb:S-FAP, Yb:YAG, Nd:YAG, and Er:YAG.
