M -- OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE OF WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT, FORT MC CLELLAN, ALABAMA. SOL DABT02-95-R-0006 DUE 051995 Contact Cathy G. Contractor shall operate and maintain the wastewater treatment plant and all associated facilities on a continuous basis, twenty-four hours per day, seven days per week. Contractor shall manage, operate, and maintain the Wastewater Treatment Plant so that effluent discharged from the WWTP meets the requirements specified by the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System permit for the plant. Equipment operated includes: treatment plant, within-plantpumping stations, flow meters, biological contractors, clarifiers, aerobic digesters, influent structures and facilities, sludge drying beds, grit and grease chambers and facilities, and trickling filter facilities and equipment. Plant operation shall be in compliance with the NPDES, AR 200-1, EPA regulations, and all other Federal and State of Alabama environmental regulations. Plant is designed for an average daily flow of 2.2 millon gallons per day and peak hydraulic loading of 8.8 million gallons per day. Contract performance period will be from date of award through 30 September 1995 with four one-year option periods.
