The work includes, but is not limited to, developing, implementing and maintaining a National Training Center for the Prevention and Early Detection of Cancer for the purpose of developing training plans; foster development of training skills for practicing health care professionals using tele-conferences and satellite courses; coordinate all logistical arrangements for training programs; design and develop educational packets; provide telephonic communications with State and Territorial Health Departments and Native American Tribal programs; and convene training center advisory committees. The type of contract anticipated is a Option Year cost-reimbursement contract with a base year of 12 months and four one year options.
