Estimated Cost Range: $1,000,000-$5,000,000. Time for completion: 425 calendar days after receipt of notice to proceed. No document charge or deposit is required. Project involves: General interior space alterations including selective demolition, cast in place concrete, unit masonry, structural steel, roofing, woodwork, joint sealers, doors, frames, hardware, glass, lath & plaster, drywall, stone, acoustical ceilings, tile flooring, resilient wall base, carpet painting, wall coverings, toilet partitions, toilet accessories, vault doors, courtroom furniture, security construction, plumbing; HVAC, electrical, lighting, fire alarm, and sprinkler systems. Option 1: Provide and install the fire sprinkler system. Option 2: Provide and install the electrical junction box extension. Option 3: Provide New fire alarm system. Option 4: Lighting Retrofit. Option 5: Unit price for replacement of fan coil units (multiplier: 139). Option 6: Unit price for replace of fan coil pneumatic controls (multiplier: 181). Materials required for installation of the controls will be provided by the Government. PCBs may be present in the light ballasts. The bidder or subcontractor performing the roofing work shall meet the competency qualification requirements as specified in Section 00120 of the specifications. Any contractor or subcontractor performing asbestos or other hazardous material work shall satisfy special responsibility and shall provide bodily injury liability insurance coverage written on the comprehensive form of policy of at least $500,000 per occurrence. Such coverage must encompass liabilities arising from work with hazardous materials involved. The Government will not indemnify against such risks.
