Work includes, but is not limited to, repair and replacement of deteriorated Portland Cement Concrete (PCC) pavement and replacement of asphaltic concrete (AC) pavement at aircraft parking stubs 29 and 30. Also included is the routing and resealing of joints and cracks in PCC pavement and at the interface between PCC and AC pavements, and restriping of pavement surfaces. The estimated value of the work is between $250,000 and $500,000 thousand. The contract performance period shall be 105 calendar days, of which no more than 60 days shall be used to actually complete the work. Government furnished materials shall not be included. The Standard Industrial Classification Code (SIC) is 1611. The site where work will be accomplished is located in a controlled area. The solicitation is scheduled for issuance on or about 30 April 1995. This procurement is being considered for 100% Small Disadvantaged Business Concerns. Interested SDB concerns should contact the Fairchild AFB Contracting Office as soon as possible, but no later than 28 April 1995. Interested parties must include a positive statement of eligibility as an SDB concern, evidence of capacity to obtain bonds for a project of this magnitude, and information that demonstrates a capability to perform projects of this complexity and magnitude.
