Scope of work consists of but is not limited to providing renovation work in the U.S. Marshals Service 24th floor holding cell area, adjacent support spaces, and basement sallyport. The renovation work includes employee locker rooms, security control room upgrades, new isolation cell, fitness room, interview rooms new security doors, plumbing upgrades, electrical upgrades, security upgrades, and related asbestos abatement. The completion time for this project is two hundred forty (240) calendar days from Notice to Proceed. Estimated cost is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. Specifications will be available on or abut May 3, 1995. Sealed bids will be opened publicly on June 5, 1995, at 2:00 P.M. (Local Time). The proposed contract is being procured as a total small business set-aside. Bids are solicited only from small busness concerns. Bids received from concerns that are not small business concerns shall be considered non-responsive and will be rejected. The Small Business Size Standard for this project is $17 million.
