Wall (410) 278-2286 (Site Code DAAD05) The U.S. Army Aberdeen Proving Ground Support Activity, Directorate of Contracting has a requirement to purchase a Biral Aerosol Shape Analyzer, Model Number B1000 or Equal. The system shall be comprised of the following specifications: size shall not exceed 25x25x25 inches; shall not exceed 10AMP, particle size range shall be 1 to 10 micron; sample flow rate shall not exceed 1 liter/minute; sample concentration shall be capable of measuring 8,000 particles per second or better; sample time period varies from minimum of 5 seconds to 1 hour either increment or continuous; system shall have zero dead time between each sample period; display update shall be every 5 seconds; laser shall be 670 nm with 9 mw minimum power; shape measurement for particle symmetry shall be through Af=0 to Af=100 per biral defining equations for E1, E2, E3 detectors; particle size measurement shall be made by light scatter measurement technique only; data display shall be of centroid plot or contour plot; system shall have an alarm and alarm logic for particle detection logic; data storage shall be 4mm tape drive; and display shall be VGA with touch screen.
