R -- PRE RELEASE OF THE STATEMENT OF WORK FOR THE GODDARD BUSINESS AD MINISTRATIVE AND TECHNICAL COMPUTING SUPPORT SERVICES PROCUREMENT SOL RFP POC Nichole L. A draft copy of the Statement of Work for the Goddard Business Adminstrative and Technical Computing Support Services Procurement will be released for industry comment. This procurement is for comprehensive business adminstrative and technical computing support services in support of the Information Management Divisions, Code 250. The current statement of work is based on a Level-of-Effort Contract. However, a decision has been made to award a Performance Based contract, with some elements remaining as level-of-effort. Therefore, we would like to obtain comments from industry on how to convert the draft Level-of-Effort statement of work to a Performance-Based statement of work. The statement of work contains the following sections: Management and Adminstration; Network Systems and Services; Desktop Intergration and Support; Customer Service; System Development, Intergration, and Sustaining Engineering, HOST Computing Operations; Security; Quality Assurance; and Scientific and Engineering Workstation Procurement (SEWP) Business and Operations Workstation Laboratory (Bowl). This procurement consists of approximately 150 workyears. This procurement also has been set-a-side as an 8(a) competition, and will be a national buy. We are planning to release the final RFP this summer. There will be a response time of approximately three weeks allotted for submission of comments to the draft Statement of Work.
