The project involves the delivery of an uninterruptable Commercial steam service to the Detroit Arsenal of a peak capacity of 215,000 lbs of steam per hour with an approximate heat content of 470,000 MBTU. The project will require the construction of a steam and condensate line to an agreed upon interface point connected to the Detroit Arsenal Steam Distribution System. The steam line must run underground along the railroad right away, from 11 or 12 Mile Road (Warren, MI) to the interface point. The estimated annual use is approximately 350,000,000 lbs of steam. Magnitude of construction: Unknown. Type of contract: Firm fixed price.
